Nars Douceur review and swatches

This was a birthday gift from my lovely friend Catherine :) which she bought on Ebay. The listing assumes it's authentic and looks quite so.
I have never swatched this shade but i have seen swatches of it online and they were very beautiful! I was lemming for a pinky-brown neutral blush for anytime on any look and this fits the bill!

To start off with, this is a pinky-mauvish brown blush leaning more brown and has no yucky orange tone. It has a sheer-medium pigmentation a bit like the MAC sheer-tone blushes. It is very buildable and has a natural skin-like finish and fool-proof texture. Appears mostly matte in some lights but in sunlight there is a golden sheen/shimmer. This is both a great blush and contour shade especially if you have a light skin tone. It is long-lasting as it lasts the whole day but gradually fading to a natural flush. It also doesn't distract from your look or make you look overdone.

Sorry for the blurry and low quality picture above
Overall this is the perfect blush for everyday when you can't decide which blush to wear. Just 'poof' this on with a brush and you are ready to go! I rate this a 9/10 because I find it somehow lacking. Formula could be a bit more pigmented but this is good for beginners to build up the colour. I would recommend this for anyone from light skin tone to maybe a medium-dark. It would hardly show up on dark skintones so I would avoid. Absolutely beautiful, great starter neutral blush!
